STTQ Accreditation
Soft Tissue Therapy Qualifications
Why Good Accreditation is Important.
Across healthcare and medical professions, qualifications are trusted because they are accredited against rigorous standards. Accreditation provides assurance to the public, employers, insurers and other healthcare professionals that those holding a qualification have been properly trained and can be relied upon to work safely, competently and ethically.
Soft tissue therapies deserve the same level of professional recognition. To achieve this, our qualifications must demonstrate that they are robust, transparent and genuinely assess both theoretical knowledge and practical clinical competence.
For this reason, STTQ places great importance on the quality and integrity of its accreditation process. We believe transparency is essential for building trust, which is why we publish information about our accreditation framework and quality assurance procedures.
But we operate in an unregulated private training sector and a number of other organisations offer or claim to provide accreditation for their massage courses. However, the level of scrutiny, independence and quality assurance can vary considerably. Not all accreditation processes are equal.
